year 9 options 2025

Pupils in year 9 will have to select 3 of the following subjects to study in years 10 and 11. These are organised into blocks. Only 1 subject can be studied per block.

It is important that you get as much information as possible before the options deadline so that the courses you pick are appropriate for you. When making your choices, you should:

Speak to your subject teachers

Look at what careers need specific subjects

Speak to our Careers Wales advisor

Attend options evening on 30th January

Speak to your from tutor and Progress Lead
