Cardiff West Community High School

BBC

BBC Wales is proud to be one of the founder partners of the Cardiff Creative Education Partnership.

We want to make sure the opportunity to work for the BBC or in Wales’ creative industries is available to everyone, from every school and community in Wales. We hope the Partnership will inspire a new generation of young people and support their journey into a career into broadcasting and media.

BBC Wales is committed to finding talented people to work on and off air, whatever their background.  We need a wide range of skills including carpentry, electricians, make-up artists, costume designers, journalists, commentators, social media producers, film-makers and many other varied roles.  We are committed to attracting applications, now and in future, from communities and groups who are currently under-represented in our workforce.

We aim to reflect contemporary Wales on TV, radio and digital services.  New voices, perspectives and experiences are vital for our future creativity.

The Partnership will help make sure the creative sector is open to all the brightest talents, who will bring their own brilliant ideas to audiences. By working and learning together, the possibilities are endless.
